An interactive wayfinding kiosk is the self-service navigation point in a station concourse. Passengers touch a map, get step-by-step directions to the right platform or exit, and see live service updates — all without queuing at a help desk. RisingStar is a hardware OEM/ODM. We supply the touch display; you bring the navigation software, CMS, and indoor-positioning integration.

We do not build wayfinding or CMS software; our hardware is open to yours.

01 Do you supply the wayfinding software?

No. We supply the touch display hardware. The kiosk connects to your navigation software, CMS, and indoor-positioning system through open SDK/API.

02 Does the touch work with gloves?

Yes. PCAP capacitive touch with glove and wet-hand mode. Works in cold platforms and rainy entrances.

03 Are they accessible to low-vision travellers?

Hardware supports high-contrast UI, large-font and audio-readiness modes, aligning with ADA / WCAG 2.2 AA guidance. Confirm specific compliance before deployment.

04 What certifications apply?

CE / RoHS / FCC certified, ISO 9001 certified, with IP65. ADA/WCAG-aligned hardware design.

05 What about warranty and working life?

Standard warranty is 3 years, backed by long-cycle after-sales: we repair by module or board rather than replacing the whole kiosk. Working life depends on several factors — the LED backlight, the panel, driver electronics and the duty environment among them; the backlight is rated up to 50,000 h (L50), roughly 5.7 years at 24/7. Our units are rated to an MTBF of 50,000 hours, based on our reliability test data.
