DC 9–36V with isolated power stages rides the spikes and dips of vehicle electrical systems (ISO 7637-2).

On a moving vehicle and a roadside shelter, LCD shows next-stop, route maps and alerts from one uniform panel — legible in sun and shadow. Legacy LED dot-matrix stays readable only for a fixed glyph board already specified; for the day-to-day information transit carries, LCD is the forward path.
